The upcoming Burnsville Total Joint Education Class will offer details about how to prepare for joint replacement surgery, as well as what to expect while in the hospital.
Joint replacement is a common surgery, and knowing how to prepare for the pre- and post-surgery period can go some way to ensuring the treatment will be a success. The learners will also be supplied with information about what they can do to make the postoperative period go more smoothly, and there will be two sessions to choose from.
Both of these workshops are scheduled to be held at the Fairview Ridges Hospital, and the registrants are asked to arrive at the main hospital entrance and follow the posted signage that will point the way. Volunteers will also be on hand to help if needed. Along with receiving a wealth of tips and other information, the attendees will find out what supplies they should have on hand at home to make caring for them as easy as possible.
