Burnsville residents invited to show hometown pride

The City of Burnsville has issued an invitation to an event that will offer a full week of fun for all ages.

During I Love Burnsville Week, a large number of activities have been planned to help celebrate the community and all that makes it great. According to the city, this event attracts hundreds of participants, and they can take part in the I Love Burnsville Adventure Run, drop off unwanted appliances during a specially planned event, attend the grand opening celebration of Minnesota Riverfront Park, visit the YMCA during its open house, and play pickleball.

There will be a ground-breaking ceremony for the improvements that will be made to the city hall/police department building, the winner of the essay contest will be announced, seniors can attend a fitness and health day that has been planned just for them, there will be birding workshops and a huge assortment of other events have been planned as well.

Booklet printing can be used to create a full schedule of the different functions that will be a part of a community celebration such as this, and these can then be distributed to anyone who takes part.

All of this, plus a whole lot more, will be taking place in various locations across Burnsville from June 3 to 9. A full listing of the events, as well as additional information, can be found on its website.
