A new type of horticultural exchange is set to hit the Burnsville gardening scene just in time for the upcoming season.
A Garden Tool Swap is on the way for the community, and it will help households to find a new home for their unwanted supplies and also keep these materials out of the landfill. The activity is open to anyone interested, and it will be a “bring and take” occasion.
All sorts of tools are welcome. These include hoses, rakes, ceramic pots, and other gear. It was requested that the items be gently used and not broken, and it has also been asked that plastic pots be left at home. Any items remaining on site at the end of the day will be donated or recycled.
Along with the swap, the function will boast a native plant market. Ferns, grasses, and wildflowers will all be on offer, and if they bring along an empty box or bag, it will be easier for the public to take their treasures home with them.
Springtime is a popular season for horticulturally themed activities. Pop-up markets are an especially common sight, and their planners can choose a full selection of Promotional Products from an area printer.
The date for the 2023 Tool Swap will be hosted at 100 Civic Center Parkway on May 20. It will be open from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.
