When it comes to summer fun, Burnsville has plenty on offer, and it has added even more excitement to the season by scheduling a series of seasonal community gatherings.
Billed as being the ultimate summer celebration for the city, the Party of the Plaza initiative has been set for several dates during the season. There are three on the agenda, with one each in June, July, and August.
Each of the installments will include family-friendly activities, and there will be live entertainment as well as local food trucks to patronize. Community groups have been invited to set up a booth or other display, and to help support the area's small business sector, there will be arts and crafts vendor tables to visit. Games will be set up as part of the event, which will take place at Nicollet Commons Park.
Community gatherings bring neighbors together, which can help locals to feel more connected. A poster printing company will be happy to provide attention-grabbing marketing materials that may be posted in high-traffic public areas, as well as other locations.
Party on the Plaza will be on offer tomorrow (June 6), as well as July 11 and August 22, both of which are also Thursdays. Each is set to run from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and the city’s website will have the most current information.
