Burnsville online origami class to have Easter theme

An Easter-themed online activity is set to offer fun for the whole family, and Burnsfield residents are welcome to join in this hands-on experience.

Kathleen Sheridan, an origami instructor, will be teaching some basic techniques for creating with paper. It will incorporate Swedish Easter traditions, and is geared towards those who are at least eight years of age.

The class, which will be live, will take place using the Zoom platform, and the participants will be working with the materials packed into the workshop kits. These are included in the registration fee, and they will be made available for pickup ahead of the event. Anyone who would prefer to have them shipped to their home address can request to have them delivered, although an additional charge will be applied for this service.

Along with the kit of materials, each registrant will need to supply their own glue, scissors, and colored markers. Packaging materials as well as Copies of printed instructions for completing the project can be prepared for the organizers of this sort of family activity by an area printing services company.

To help ensure everyone has the materials they need for this event, the final date to register will be Sunday, March 21. The activity itself has been scheduled for the afternoon of the following Sunday, March 28.
