Plans are underway in Burnsville for a night of celebrations that will bring neighbors together to get to know one another and have a great time.
Night to Unite, which is also known as National Night Out, is a countrywide initiative undertaken by communities all over America, and Burnsville will be among them. It will be all about building a sense of civic pride and showing community spirit, and everyone is encouraged to participate.
To get involved, neighbourhoods are encouraged to plan local parties, and they can register to take part ahead of time. When registering an event, organizers can choose to request an in-person or internet visit from a member of local law enforcement, firefighter or member of the city’s staff, and any questions about this can be directed to 952-895-4575.
The city explained that neighbourhoods that would like to get involved but are concerned about hosting an in-person event are invited to pick up community Bags that they can then distribute to their neighbors. These will be filled with Promotional Products and other swag as well as information that may be useful to the recipient.
Burnsville will be marking 2021 Night to Unite on August 3. Those who are interested in being a part of the fun are asked to register their event by visiting the city’s website.
