Those who own a vehicle from the 1980s and who want to show it off are encouraged to be part of Burnsville’s ‘Back to the ‘80's Car Show & Food Truck Rally 2019’, which promises to have lots to offer everyone who attends.
Whether it can make it to the event on its own power or it has to be towed or pushed, all vehicles built in the 1980s are welcome to be a part of the event. Along with the cars, trucks, and other rides, the occasion will include music, food trucks, and other fun, and those who really want to go all out can even try their luck in an ‘80s costume contest.
The city of Burnsville has provided financial and other support to the function, and in addition to the food, both alcoholic and soft drinks will be available for purchase. There will be prizes awarded to the vehicles in an assortment of categories, and the winner will be determined by popular vote.
Those who register a vehicle for the event, as well as the general public, can purchase a T-shirt that includes a graphic design prepared specially for the occasion. Both adult and children's sizes are available.
Burnsville Center will be welcoming this ‘80s throwback on June 15. It will run from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
