Golf may not typically be thought of as a winter sport, but a day planned for a Burnsville course will turn that notion on its head.
The Birnamwood Golf Course will soon be accepting registrations for its Winter Golf outing, which will make the most of a frosty January Wednesday. This will be the third year for the function, and those who are interested can sign up along with their friends and family.
Since it is anticipated that there may be snow on the ground for this golf outing, it has been adapted to suit the season. The golfers will be dressed warmly, large gator-skin dodgeballs will take the place of the usual golf balls, and to make sure everyone can find them easily, the holes in the snow will be well marked. When it is time for a warm-up, everyone can head to the food vendors, and beverages will be on offer as well.
A fun activity may call for prizes that are every bit as whimsical. A printing services company will be happy to help, and can supply lots of outside-the-box Corporate Gifts.
Burnsville golfers will be getting into the swing of things with this session of frozen fun out on the golf course on January 21. Tee off time for the day will be 9:00 am.
