Burnsville Festival offers something for all ages

A treasure hunt, live music, food and beverage tastings, a fire truck parade, carnival rides and fireworks highlight the Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster.

Presented by the local non-profit festival organization, the 3-day event is jam-packed with activities for the entire family that celebrate the diverse cultures of the community.

A kickoff block party starts the celebrations and will include a large food truck festival. There will also be live music by The Free and Easy Band, craft beer tasting and children’s activities such as face painting, yard games and bounce houses.

Live music and other entertainment will continue throughout the weekend and feature a multicultural stage. A pickleball tournament, soccer games and baby races are among the other activities.

The festival also includes a medallion hunt. Participants will use published clues to search Burnsville City Park for the hidden medallion in the hope of winning prizes.

Organizers of the event rely on volunteers and sponsors to make the festival happen. Businesses who contribute to community events such as this often use banner printing to attract attention to their products and services.

The Burnsville Festival and Fire Muster will take place September 4 to 6, 2025 at Nicollet Commons Park and other venues throughout the city. Further information, including detailed event times and locations, is available on the festival website.
