Burnsville class to teach safe workplace driving

A certification class will soon be offered in Burnsville for those who use a forklift in the course of their daily work.

American Workshop has organized the Warehouse Forklift Certification training course in Burnsville. The one-day session will combine time in the classroom with hands-on experience. The current regulations pertaining to the use of this equipment will be discussed, and the students will also spend time operating a forklift in a warehouse environment so that they can practice their newly acquired skills.

Once they have successfully completed the course, those who took part will each receive a certificate, which they can use to show they have received the training and have a thorough understanding of the industry standards and government regulations. According to its organizers, the class can be beneficial to those who work in the construction industry or who plan on doing so. Those who intend to participate are asked to bring their lunch and wear appropriate clothing.

The Warehouse Forklift certification course will be held on November 21 from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm at American Workshop. The cost to participate is $175.00 per student.
