Burnsville bunnies benefit from online auction
Headquartered near Burnsville, an organization that helps homeless rabbits across Minnesota find a loving forever home has set the start date for a fundraising auction.
Rabbit Rescue of MN has collected a variety of items that will soon be up for bids in its online auction, and it will be running for ten days. The items that will be on the block can be viewed ahead of time, and it's anticipated that there will be hundreds to choose from.
The planners of the auction explained that they have set a fundraising goal of $7,000, and even if they don’t decide to place a bid, the public can still help by making a donation. The items range from miniature furniture for a dollhouse to ceramic pots, puzzle gift baskets and even a full size bunny castle for pet buns to explore. The monies will be used to provide abandoned, neglected and unwanted domesticated rabbits with medical care, spaying or neutering microchipping and hopefully, a forever home.
