November has been designated as “National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month,” and a Burnsville area fundraiser will work to make this issue a thing of the past.
The guests at the Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless gala will be making it both fun and easy to help make sure everyone in the area has access to adequate and affordable shelter. There are sponsorship opportunities on offer for members of the local business community who would like to get involved, and it is expected to attract a large crowd.
Attendees will be enjoying a variety of lite bites, and while they do, they can network and meet others who care about their community. zAmya Theater Project has been booked to supply the entertainment, and a silent auction is also in the works.
According to the listing prepared for the evening, monies raised will be utilized to fund a variety of projects. Donations will be gratefully accepted as well. Details about the various businesses that have sponsored an occasion can be added to the materials prepared for the occasion by a banner printing company.
This fundraiser to make it easier for community members to help the homeless will be held on November 3 at Surly Brewing Co. It will begin at 5:30 pm, and tickets for the function are still available at the time of writing.
