The Minnesota State Fair is returning to the area next month and will close on Labor Day. This popular event attracts over 1.8 million people each year from all over the state.
As with all fairs, there is a midway that offers a variety of rides, such as a Ferris wheel and roller coaster for people of all ages. There will also be the usual carnival games to play.
A sheet of 25 tickets will cost $15. The fair will also feature live animal displays, horse shows, and talent shows.
One of the biggest draws of the fair is the musical performances from world famous artists. This year, some of those who have been confirmed to perform are Don Henley, Weezer, the Happy Together Tour (which features the Turtles and Mark Lindsay among other 60s stars), and the Dixie Chicks. Ticket prices are $21 each and up.
Other activities include the Arts A’Fair, the Alphabet Forest for kids, Adventure Park, and an Eco Experience Exhibit. There is also a daily parade.
