Spooky South Portland celebration set to make its return

Once a year for the past three years, an event has brought members of the South Portland business community together to celebrate with their current and potential customers. The Witch’s Ball will be making its return this October, and a change of venue will add to the mystique.

The occasion is expected to attract a wide assortment of vendors, including artisans and artists, as well as readings, reiki massages, jewelry, clothing and many other products and services. The event will run throughout the day, and all ages can find it has activities of interest to them.

The foodies in the crowd can sample some of the gourmet food on offer, and this will be accompanied by music spun by a DJ. A photo booth will give the guests a chance to catch a few quick shots of the fun, and a costume contest has been planned for the kids. The little ones can also do some trick or treating, and everyone can enjoy a visit to the spine-tingling haunted hall.

While the kids participate in the activities that have been planned with them in mind, the grown-ups can stop by the beer and wine station, which will offer a cash bar. Admission is free, and many of the vendors will be handing out Business Cards and other Promotional Products.

This year’s Witch’s Ball, which is hosted by Maine Supporting Maine, will be open to all on October 26. It will be on offer at 155 Riverside Street in Portland.
