The chilly days of fall can be well suited to relaxing indoors with a puzzle, game, or other activity, and a South Portland swap event will breathe new life into gently used hobby materials.
The Casco Bay Room at 21 Nelson Road will be the location for the Getting in a Cozy Fall Mood session of the community Swap Series. It is one of a set of activities held once each month, and each is intended to be both environmentally and budget friendly.
The October installment will be dedicated to games, puzzles, and crafting materials. These can include yarn, markers, crating kits, sewing supplies, and other items, and Books and puzzles will also be welcome. DVDs and Blu-ray discs will be in the mix, and board games will be on offer. All items brought should be clean and usable, with no major pieces missing. The swap will run for three hours.
