Boat building is a specialized craft, and thanks to the return of a South Portland area event, those who build watercraft will soon be able to show off their skills to the public.
The Maine Boatbuilders Show is set to return in 2021, and it will offer three days of activities. It will be set up in its brand new home at the Portland Yacht Services and Portland Shipyard, and its schedule has been expanded to allow for all it has to offer.
The participants in the show will include builders who construct boats using wood, fiberglass, and other materials, and a variety of marine equipment providers will also be on site. Everything from small craft like canoes and kayaks to full size sailboats, yachts and power boats will be included, and the attendees can meet the makers and learn how they go about their work.
Hosting this sort of activity is one way to bring boat builders and potential customers together, and a poster printing company will often have a role to play in ensuring it will be a success. It can offer a wide variety of options for marketing materials, and posting these throughout the area will help to build the buzz about a celebration.
This year's Maine Boat Builders Show will be connecting the boating public with makers and equipment suppliers from July 23 to July 25. Tickets for the function start at $15.
