South Portland set to get crafting

A handmade wreath can be the final touch to a home’s holiday decor, and a South Portland workshop in early December will teach how to prepare one of these festive arrangements.

Blind Tiger, which can be found at 163 Danforth Street in Portland, will be offering the opportunity to learn how to use the materials provided to craft an evergreen wreath. Tickets are $81.88, and the instruction will be supplied by a representative of Mare Brook Farms.

Attendees will be walked through the steps of crafting their project, and they will be able to use the techniques they have learned to prepare wreaths in the future. Snacks will be served to the group, and everyone can keep toasty warm while they sip on a mug of hot chocolate. A BYOB mixer bar will also be on offer. Everyone can arrive a few minutes ahead of time so they can get settled before the workshop begins.

Learning as part of a larger group can offer people a way to meet new friends. A flyer printing company can provide an assortment of marketing options for such an activity while also being kind on the budget.

This festive crafting session that will create handmade pieces of holiday decor is scheduled for Thursday, December 5. Ticketholders are welcome to arrive starting at 6:00 pm.
