South Portland set to enjoy evening of romance

A South Portland area eatery may be able to help bring extra romance to Valentine’s Day this year.

Bravo Maine will be welcoming couples for a hands on dinner, and the prep will take place right at their individual table. They will learn how to prepare a traditional cheese fondue, as part of what looks set to be a memorable meal and occasion.

The experience will begin with some French appetizers, and this will be followed by the fondue cooking class. A glass of French wine will be served, and the cheeses used will all be imported from France. Social distancing measures and other COVID-19 prevention protocols will be put into place and followed throughout the evening, and masks must be worn. Each person will be seated individually at their table, although friends and couples will be permitted to sit together.

While an activity like this may give the participants hands-on experience, they often want to have printed Copies of the recipes used. These can be obtained from area Stationery printers, and can be bound into Booklets or offered as individual recipe cards.

Bravo Maine will be offering this foodie-friendly Valentine’s event for couples and friends on Sunday, February 14, and places can be booked through Eventbrite. It can be found at 64 Pine Street in Maine.
