An event taking place in Towson over two dates is bringing a seasonally themed and festive atmosphere.
Towsontown Spring Festival is an annual celebration of the season, as well as the offerings of the community. It is a modified version of an event from 1968 known as the Towsontown Art Exhibit. It is put together by the city’s chamber of commerce, with aid from local sponsors.
The event features small businesses, artisans, performers, carnival rides, games, food trucks, and national attractions.
While attending the event itself is free, the carnival rides require tickets. Each ride needs between two and five. Individual tickets are $2. A set of 25 will cost $30. For $35, guests can get a wristband for unlimited rides. These can be purchased at the festival.
The marketplace portion of the event will have more than 300 vendors to explore. Many times, those who have booths at events like this will pay for services from a company specializing in business card printing so their information can be handed out to interested parties that discover their products and want to find them again later. The festival will be held from 10:00am to 8:00pm on May 2nd and 1:00pm to 6:00pm on May 3rd. Detailed lineup information is on the festival’s website. The venues are Baltimore, Washington, Pennsylvania, and Chesapeake Avenues in Towson.
