Towson welcomes Spring Festival

Towsontown Spring Festival will come to Towson for two days in early May.

The Information Stage at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Washington avenues will hold opening ceremonies preceded by a color guard, the Bag Pipers and the National Anthem.

On Saturday, the Patriot Plaza Stage located between the town's two court houses will present DJ Ray Der and Kelly Bell, and Sunday the stage will have DJ Ray Der and The Reagan Years.

A Family Fun Zone and Farmyard Experience will be located beside the PNC Bank between Upper West Pennsylvania Avenue and Lower West Chesapeake Avenue. Carnival rides will cost $2 per ticket, $30 for 25 tickets and $35 for unlimited rides wristbands.

Event organizers are expecting over 50,000 visitors so many local businesses will be reserving spots in order to get their goods, services and brands out to the public. Food vendors and food trucks will be bringing festival treats and special food tastings, and Baltimore County agencies will be on hand with information about their programs and initiatives.

Many groups that reserve spaces in events such as this often go to local Print shops to get a little banner printing done. That way they will have colorful Banners to bring attention to their tents or booths.

This year's Towson Festival will take place Saturday May 3rd from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday May 4th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
