Towson will be celebrating this holiday season with a tree lighting, market, family night and a cookie crawl.
Downtown Towson will be holding its annual Baltimore County Christmas Tree Lighting featuring holiday music, Christmas lights, live performances from local entertainers, carolers, and photo opportunities. The Christmas tree will be lighted in the park.
Pictures taken early in the season at events like this still have time to be taken to local Stationery printers to be come this year's Christmas cards.
This year's Baltimore County Tree Lighting will take place December 5th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Olympic Park.
The Holiday Station Winter Market will have handcrafted gifts from local artisans, festive decor and sweet treats. The market will be at Charter Senior Living of Townson, 6451 North Charles Street, Friday, December 5th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Fire and Ice Family Night and Cookie Crawl will be a evening of ice sculptures, holiday treats and fire pits. Guests are invited to collect holiday cookies from participating businesses as they stroll through festive downtown Towson. Many stores will be offering special holiday discounts. Some participating businesses will be The Point, Barley's Backyard, The Music Space and Red Pepper Sichuan Bistro.
Lighted Christmas trees will be located around town and visitors may choose and vote for their favorites.
The Fire and Ice Night and Cookie Crawl will be December 12th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
