Those here in Towson who wish to support local budding talent may be interested in attending the 7th Annual Frost Fest coming in early February.
Frost Fest 2025 will be a student band showcase of students from Stages Music Arts, a Baltimore recording studio and music school. The groups are composed of adults, teens and kids learning the professional performing ropes and tricks of the music world trade.
Performances will be 1/2 hour each and will be on the Recher Stage and in the Rec Room. Eighteen performances are scheduled for the Recher starting at noon. Some of these will include groups with eye-catching names such as Cross Trax, Thunder Chicken, Aluminum Toucan, Lethal Machine, The Breadheads, Deer Oh Deer, and Dr. McNifty's Wonder Tonic.
Seven bands will be performing at the Rec Room beginning at 1:30 pm. These will include Frantic @mp, The Fake IDs, Roses & Rogues, The C.L.A.T. Trap, The Soundz, and Fish Eye Lens.
Upcoming bands often go to local Print shops to get their Logo Design created and to Print Business Cards or Posters.
Tickets are $7.18 until February 1 and $12.51 at the door. Kids less than six years old may get in for free.
Frost Fest 2025 will be Sunday, February 2nd from noon to 10:00 pm. The Recher and the Rec Room are located at 512 York Road.
