Jessup chamber to host breakfast talk on the economy
The Howard County Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Economic Forecast Breakfast this November.
The morning will open with half an hour for registration and networking. Chamber of commerce members often use business card printing services to prepare for networking events.
Breakfast will be served at 8:10 am, and the program will begin at 8:30 am, with Dr. Anirban Basu as the speaker. Dr. Basu currently holds multiple consulting and teaching roles. He is the Chairman and CEO of Sage Policy Group, a consulting firm focused on policy and economics, and teaches History of Economic Thought at Goucher College as its Distinguished Economist in Residence. In his past Chamber talks, he has used a mix of humor and pop culture references to provide economic insights in an engaging format.
Tickets are available on the Chamber’s website now. The price is $75 for members and $90 for non-members through next Tuesday, October 28. This increases to $100 for members and $115 for non-members on Wednesday, October 29. Walk-in tickets will be available for $125 at the door. The Howard County Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Jessup and other towns in the area.
The Economic Forecast Breakfast will take place on Wednesday, November 12 from 7:30 am to 10:00 am in the Cameo Ballroom at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City.
