Summer, seafood, and soul music will be able to complement one another this weekend, as Glen Burnie food and music lovers get a chance to enjoy an evening of all three.
In just a couple of weeks, the 2014 Summer Crab & Shrimp Feast will be serving tasty seafood along with live music by Clay Hunt’s Pure Delite.
Along with the seafood, the deluxe buffet will offer other traditional summer fare such as fried chicken, BBQ pulled pork, hotdogs, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and potato salad. Dessert will be watermelon and strawberry short cake.
Clay Hunt’s Pure Delight band performs just about everything from rock to soul. Its song list includes old favorites like ‘Black Velvet’, ‘Brown-Eyed Girl’, and ‘Bobby McGee’, as well as love songs like ‘Back in Love’, ‘Have I Told You Lately’, and ‘Baby I Love You’. The group also delivers music with a heavier beat. The evening could prove an ideal occasion for exchanging digital Business Cards in a relaxed setting.
The evening event will be held Saturday, August 16 at 7:00 pm at La Fontaine Bleue Catering, 7514 Richie HWY, Glen Burnie. The cost will be $45 per person. Doors will open at 7:00 pm.
