Glen Burnie invited to charity car event

Glen Burnie's Col. Harry L. Cooper VFW Post 160 will be holding its 14th Annual Car & Truck Show in mid-June.

Open to the public, a range of custom, classic, muscle, hot rods, and performance vehicles will be showcased. Dash plaques will be issued to all participants, and trophies and awards will be given in creativity and craftsmanship categories.

Entertainment and car displays will be allocated to specific exhibitor areas, and the entertainment area will include food vendors, live music, door prizes, a DJ, 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and kids' activities. Vendors will be auto-related businesses, community organizations, and local artisans.

Admission will be free for spectators and proceeds from vehicle participation fees and sponsorships will go to the VFW's local outreach and veteran programs.

Sponsorships levels range from Trophy to Title, and custom packages will be available too. Sponsors are invited to display Banners at their booths. Event organizers who use paper products such as signage, participation certificates, and registration slips often get them printed at nearby Print shops.

All vehicles displayed at the show will check in on show day, go through a simple entry process, and have ample parking slots.

The VFW 14th Annual Car Show will bring excitement to motoring fanatics on Sunday, June 14 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at 2597 Dorsey Road.
