Animal lovers and creatives will share a common cause this September in Glen Burnie, as a painting experience focused on furry friends is opening enrollment.
The Pet Portrait experience in Glen Burnie, which is being led by artist Katie Dietrich, is getting ready to welcome participants who want to use their creative skills and passions into a unique portrait of their pet. Dietrich, who is the owner of the Neverland School of Imagination, will be leaning on her teaching and painting experience to help enrollees enjoy a positive and memorable painting experience.
Dietrich will guide painters through the creative process in a way that allows for quality time with friends and family who attend with them. These participants must send a color headshot photo of the pet they wish to make a portrait of prior to the painting date. Printing services can aid organizers of such events by providing high-quality prints of the canvas template that elevate the experience.
Aprons will not be provided but are available for purchase at the host site. All other supplies are included in the ticket price. The canvas size will be 11” by 14”.
The Bonefish Grill in Glen Burnie will be hosting the Pet Portrait experience on Tuesday, September 1, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets are available online for $45 per painter.
