If winter has Glen Burnie locals “in the doldrums”, in a couple of weeks they can put on their glad rags and head out to an evening of dinner and dancing.
All grownups are invited to a Dinner Dance with Appaloosa. Organizers advise all to “dress to impress”.
The evening will be filled with nonstop music from the Appaloosa Band. The venue has three dance floors, each with its own DJ. Dance classes will also be available, as will door prizes, and parking will be free. It will probably be a good idea to take along those digital Business Cards.
The Appaloosa Band has been around since 1971 and is composed of Gordon Holder on guitar, Chuck Ansell on keyboards, Mike Flaherty on drums, and Tony Desenaro on bass with lead vocalist Ed Knuckey. During the evening, guests will be treated to the band’s renditions of old favorites such as Robert Palmer’s ‘Addicted to Love’, the Eagles’ ‘Desperado’, the Temptations’ ‘My Girl’, and Bob Segers’ ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’.
Tickets will be $30 prior to the event and $35 at the door and include an all-you-can-eat buffet, salad bar, soup, dessert, and open bar. This event is scheduled for Friday, January 23, from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am, at La Fontaine Bleue, 7514 Richie Highway in Glen Burnie.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
