Soon, it will be time to change our Calendars over to the New Year, and couple of venues here in Glen Burnie will be hosting events to celebrate the occasion.
New Years on the Water will have an evening including drinks, food, and entertainment. There will be a Champagne Toast at midnight (hats and noise makers provided) and a Deluxe Buffet from 9:00 pm until 11:00 pm. A Continental Breakfast will be served at 12:30 am.
American Legion Post 40 will be having its Annual Commander’s New Year’s Eve Party. The event will be open to the public. Tickets include one drink and a champagne toast. The Release will be providing the music, and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Guests are asked to bring a dessert.
American Legion Post 40 is located at 500 5th Avenue, Southeast Glen Burnie. The gala will begin at 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 31 and wind down sometime around 12:30 am, Sunday January 1.
The Bleues on the Water event will be at La Fontaine Bleue 7696 Altoona Beach Road here in town. Doors will open at 9:00 pm on December 31 and close around 2:00 am January 1, 2017. The Party Club, organizer of the event, strongly suggests that those who are planning to attend call for reservations.
