Glen Burnie residents will have no excuse for not enjoying the summer weather by attending at least one of three outdoor events coming in July.
Yard Fest, presented by Culturefest & Carifesta, will include a beer garden, craft village, and a food court. Five DJs will provide the music. Although admission will be free, guests need to RSVP on the event’s website.
Yard Fest will take place Saturday, July 15 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Judy’s Island Grill II, 800 Crain Highway North.
Cornhole aficionados will be heading to the Harundale 11U Rebels Cornhole Tournament at North Glen Park, 1391 Gordon Court.
The tournament will use ACO Official Rules in a double elimination format. First place winners will receive $750, and second place will receive $250. Other activities will be a moon bounce, entertainment, food, basket raffles and a 50/50. Team entry fee is $100 including one drink and meal ticket per team member.
Teams that participate in multiple events like this often have matching shirts made featuring the team Logo Design, or a novelty graphic design.
The corn hole tournament will be Saturday, July 22, beginning at 11:00 am.
Jolly Shows Carnival will also be coming to 19 Crain Highway South from July 21 to 29, with rides such as Atlantic, Avalanche, the Gondola Wheel, Scrambler, Rock N Cars, and the Samurai. The midway will have games, food, and kiddie rides.
