The Glen Burnie Improvement Association will be hosting its annual GBIA Springfest in mid-May.
Everyone is invited to bring their own chairs, umbrellas and tents and find primo grassy spaces in order to relax and enjoy local musicians - singer, song writer and guitarist Ray Wroten from noon to 3:00 pm and Ginger & The Protest from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Ray plays soul, folk, rock, blues and pop. Ginger & The Protest will be presenting the classics and todays hits in rock, pop and Indie.
Family activities will include a karate demonstration at 2:30 pm, thanks to A.J. Bartlinski, and a moon bounce, thanks to the Moonbounce Guy.
More than 80 local artisan vendors will be on-site, so visitors may meander through that area to look for and purchase unique items.
Vendors that sell at many spring events often have custom Business Cards made with pastel colors and spring clip art of flowers, bunnies, suns and the like. They then slip these colorful cards in with purchases.
Springfest will also have a tented beer and wine garden for those over 21, and food trucks will have spring treats for purchase. This area will have seating.
GBIA Springfest 2025 will take place Saturday, May 10th from noon to 6:00 pm at the GBIA Carnival Grounds, 19 Crain Highway S. Admission and parking will be free.
