It is that time of year again for Glen Burnie locals to gather up their courage for a scary hike through the woods.
Wicked Woods will once again be offering a Halloween thrill in the Baltimore area. It is not recommended for the young, as actors leap out and scare trekkers, bright lights go on and off, and loud noises startle even the bravest of souls.
Every year on Fridays and Saturdays in October (weather and availability permitting), volunteers from the surrounding area gather to create the Wicked Woods experience. It is different every year depending on the imagination of those who plan and execute the chilling experience.
This year’s Wicked Woods will have three main attractions: Edals Valley Asylum (a medically themed trail), Syngaro’s Sinister Circus (an animal-themed trail), and a We Kids Maze. Organizers suggest parents restrict the little ones to the maze as the other attractions are likely to be a little too scary for them.
The Wicked Woods event is scheduled for October 17 and 18, and again on October 24 and 25. Located at 120 Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie, ticket prices are $10 for Edals Valley Asylum, $8 for Syngaro’s Sinister Circus, and $4 for the kids’ maze (parents go free). Discounts are available for groups, who may want to have banner printing done to represent themselves.
