Tailored for a Purpose Events, LLC a community event organizer is hosting its first annual Hole in One Mini Golf Event in mid-September.
The event will have live music and games along with the minigolf. Prizes will be awarded in various contests for teams, including Best Dressed and Funniest Golf Outfit.
Individual tickets will be $20, four-member team tickets run $65 and tickets for five golfer teams will be $80. Tickets for kids from 5 to 12 will be $15 each. Children four years old and younger can attend free. Tickets will include refreshments, mini-golf, putters, and balls. Other food may be purchased from the venue’s concession stand.
Event organizers are encouraging small businesses in Glen Burnie and other local areas to consider buying $40 Hole Sponsorships. This will give them the opportunity to get information about their goods and services, business name, Logo Design, location, and business hours out to the public.
Proceeds will benefit 2022 Young Girls STEM Conference. The one-day conference will be for local girls in 4th through 5th, and 6th through 8th grades. Girls will get the opportunity to take part in workshops led by women in fields of math, engineering, technology and science.
The Hole-in-One Mini Golf Event will be at the Arundel Golf Park, 1501 Dorsey Road on September 11, starting with registration and check-in at 9:45 am, and continuing until 12:30 pm. The shotgun start will begin at 10:30 am.
