For all Glen Burnie horse lovers, the Butterflies and Bell Boots Model Horse Show will be coming later this month.
Hobbyists will be displaying their model horses to be judged. Grand winners will qualify for the NAMHSA (North American Model Horse Shows Association) North American Nationals.
All classes will be judged for breed and workmanship. Those entries that will be considered in the workmanship judging will be made of custom-made artist resin or custom-made glazed china.
Collectables to be judged will be either from the well-known manufacture Breyer or will be composed of china or stone. Awards will be presented. First through sixth places in all classes will receive paper flats. Certificates and Pens will be given to Division Champions. Large rosettes will be awarded to Overall Champions, and an award will be granted to the Grandest of the Grand.
Exhibitors and guests will want to get their business card printing done soon to have cards available, as this will be an opportunity to network. Some of the proceeds will go to the Bethany Fund (for underprivileged kids) and the ‘Tabula Rasa’ program (an advocacy for the humane treatment of racehorses).
The horse show is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, starting at 8:30 am at Glen Burnie Moose Lodge, 1911 Crain Hwy S. Glen Burnie. The silent auction will run until 3:00 pm.Get a Free Quote for Pens
