Glen Burnie’s WWE fans are in for a treat later this month, as a special Ladies’ Night will be held featuring some of the sport’s biggest female wrestlers.
The evening will include a Meet and Greet, along with photo opportunities for later postcard printing, and some wrestling matches.
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has become increasingly popular in recent years, especially after women were included in the fun. Everyone knows that the matches are staged, but some believe it adds to the theatrical aspect of such events, allowing wrestlers, promoters and fans to join together in an evening spectacle.
Ladies Night will consist of a Meet and Greet with Hall of Famer Mick Foley and female wrestlers Melina, Mickie James and Lisa Marie Varon. Matches for the evening will feature a tussle between Mandy Leon and Queen Kimber Lee, followed by a match between Tessa Blanchard and Renee Michelle.
Ticket prices vary for the event, from $20 to $40 depending on proximity to the ring, and can be purchased over the phone, online or in person. Event tickets are required for visitors to participate in the Meet and Greet.
The event will be held June 19th at Michael’s Eighth Ave., 7220 Grayburn Drive, Glen Burnie. The Meet and Greet will start at 6pm—matches are scheduled to start at 8.
