Help raise money for the 100 Club

The Anne Arundel County 100 Club will be hosting the 12th Public Safety Recognition banquet and fundraiser, to be held at Michael’s Eighth Avenue on April 30th. The cost for last year’s tickets was $65, and they are expected to be of a similar price this year.

The 100 Club is an organization that looks to provide benefits to the families of the emergency services, law enforcement and detention officers, firefighters and medical services personnel, both those who volunteer and those who are paid, who lose their lives whilst on duty.

The banquet will feature an open bar, appetizers, dinner, musical entertainment, and a silent auction. Glen Burnie businesses will be donating the items to be sold in the silent auction. They can bring attention to this fact, and to the event, by arranging for a flyer printing order. The company can then mail out Flyers to their customer base or deliver them door to door throughout the community. This will not only show how much the company appreciates the efforts of the 100 Club’s programs, but will also show they are taking an active role in helping to improve their community. It could be a great opportunity to encourage others to attend the event.

When we hear of a firefighter or a police officer being killed in the line of duty, it can be easy to forget about the families. After we hear the initial news reports, they have to go on with their lives without their loved ones but also can struggle with supporting the family afterwards; The 100 Club does not forget.
