Glen Burnie to celebrate moms

Families in Glen Burnie will have at least three ways to mark Mother’s Day this year.

Before Mother’s Day, Liquid Lounge Cocktails and Balloon Party Boutique has scheduled a 2nd annual Moms & Mimosas MomBoss Mother’s Day Brunch for Sunday, May 7. Brunch, music, a bar, and door prizes are on the agenda. Tickets are $75 and it will take place at the Grand Ballroom, 7490 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

I Miss My Mother Brunch, hosted by Bubbly Tv, will take place Saturday, May 13th. Attendees are encouraged to honor their moms, grandmas, and other mother figures who are no longer around, and enjoy unlimited mimosas and a brunch buffet. Early bird tickets are $75 and admission at the door will be $100. It will be at the Grand Ballroom, from noon to 5:00 pm.

Finally, Bleues on the Water will host a Mother’s Day Buffet on Sunday, May 14. Moms will get free mimosas. Adult tickets are $49, children from seven to twelve pay $24.50, and kids six and under will eat for free. It will run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the La Fontaine Bleue, 7514 Ritchie Highway.

Many families will surely be taking pictures with their mothers and sending the photos to local Stationery printers to be made into customized cards for extended family and friends.
