Locals looking for unique items to purchase may want to consider attending the Glen Burnie High School Craft Fair next month.
This family friendly event will offer a variety of arts and crafts for sale from vendors across the area.
This year’s craft fair is once again being sponsored by the students enrolled in one of the various music programs at Glen Burnie High School. They will also be staffing the event.
Proceeds from the day will come from vendor registration fees and profits from selling food in the cafeteria, consisting of breakfast pastries and coffee in the morning, followed by hotdogs, hamburgers, tuna croissants, and popcorn for lunch later on.
The craft fair will feature approximately 163 vendors selling a wide variety of homemade items, from jewelry, to paintings to clothes, glassware, pottery, and even baked goods. Most items can be purchased for personal use or for giving as gifts throughout the year. Those that attend may want to look for prints or other items suitable for using in Stationery printing.
The fair will be held Sunday, March 12, in the girls’ gym at Glen Burnie High School, 7550 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie. It will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be no entrance or parking fees, though visitors are encouraged to bring cash for purchasing vendor goods or food.
