Many Glen Burnie area runners are looking forward to the Third Annual Turkey Lerky 5K Trot on Thanksgiving morning. The race will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Admission will be $30. Swag includes T-Shirts featuring this year’s graphic design.
Early bird pickup will be by the B & A Trail at the La Fitness Parking Lot on Tuesday, November 22 at 6:00 pm. On the day of the race, bib pickup will begin at 8:30 am. Runners will step off at 9:00 am with the walkers leaving five minutes later. There is no set time to finish.
Turkey Lerky Trot will take place Thursday, November 24 at La Fitness, 8120 Jumpers Hole Road, Pasadena.
There are also three races left in the Charm City Run’s Baltimore City Recreation and Parks $5 5K Series. Runners and walkers can get out and enjoy the fall weather for $5 a race. Green T-shirts are available for $15. All races will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and will include virtual options. Prizes will go to the top female and male finishers. Packets may be picked up beginning at 7:00 am, races start at 8:00 am and the awards ceremonies will be at 9:00 am.
The Zombie Zoom 5K will be at Middle Branch Park, October 29. Trot the Trail will be Saturday, November 19 at Herring Run Park. The Reindeer Run will be December 3 at Rash Field, Inner Harbor.
