The 6th Annual Joshua Roach Memorial Golf Tournament, presented by Ann Arundel Recreation and Parks, will take place in a few days. The event is named for a former Department of Recreation and Parks Sports Supervisor.
The tournament will benefit the Anne Arundel Youth Football Association. This 501C-3 organization provides equipment and financial assistance to local communities in need.
Registration will be $100 for individual players and $400 per foursome. Along with the golfing and carts, the fees will also include breakfast, lunch, and drinks. Team registration and payment must be done online or mailed before next Tuesday, September 10. Individual registration can be done either online or at the registration and sign-in, which will run from 7:30 am until 8:30 am on the day of the event.
The putting green will also be open from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. A shotgun start will begin at 9:00 am and play will be a best ball scramble format.
Individual-hole sponsorships are $100 each for any Glenn Burnie business that may wish to get their company’s Logo Design out on the course for advertising purposes. Businesses can also donate to the silent auction or provide the door prize.
The Joshua Roach Memorial Golf Tournament will be Friday, September 20th at the Compass Pointe Golf Course, 9010 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena.
