Many cornhole enthusiasts here in Glen Burnie will be entering the For Ellie Foundation Cornhole Tournament coming in the last part of February.
Proceeds will benefit the For Ellie Foundation, a non-profit organization providing support and resources for children with life altering medical needs and families who have lost a child.
Registration will be limited to 32 teams and the tournament will be in World Cup style of play. Every team will play at least three games, and the top two teams from each lane will advance to the single elimination finals. Prizes will go to the top three teams. This will be a friendly fundraiser and not open to cornhole leaguers or rated players.
Along with cornhole, the event will offer door prizes, a photo booth, raffles, seltzer, wine, beer and food.
Two-player teams can register for $200. Single spectator tickets are $30 and tickets for two are $50. Tournament t- shirts are available for $20 and may be added at registration.
Eight sponsorship levels are available from Moonflower sponsors at the $50 level to the Title Sponsor at the $5000 level.
Tournament organizers often take their paper products and swag to local Print shops to have their event Logo Design, or graphic design imprinted on them.
The For Ellie Foundation Cornhole Tournament will take place Saturday, February 22nd at the Moose Athletic Club, 1911 Crain Highway S Glen Burnie. Doors will open at 3:30 pm and the games will begin at 4:00 pm.
