The Glen Burnie area will have the opportunity to show its support to three causes during the early days of December.
A Johns Hopkins Children’s Cancer Center Annual Toy Drive will feature Christmas tunes provided by DJ Blue, lunch, and door prizes. The event will take place at Outback Steakhouse, 7744 Governor Ritchie Highway, from 9:00 am to noon on December 2.
Later on the same date, Toys for Kids Christmas Dance will be a fun-filled evening of dancing, raffles, and auctions. The evening’s DJ will be Dave Rau. Admission will be an unwrapped gift and $20. The gifts will go to kids in the county who may not receive presents at this time of year otherwise.
Toys for Kids Christmas Dance will take place Saturday, December 2 from 9:00 pm to midnight at Roland Terrace Democratic Club, Inc., 619 Matthews Avenue, Brooklyn Park.
Another festive event will be the 5th Annual Christmas Craft and Vendor Show supporting Anne Arundel County’s Harvest Resources Curbside Pantry. Local craftspeople and merchants will be selling both everyday and Christmasy items to help guests check off items on their gift list. Craftspeople at events like this often include custom Business Cards with purchases.
Admission will be free, but attendees are asked to bring non-perishables to fill the pantry shelves. Drinks and food will be available for purchase.
The 5th Annual Christmas Craft and Vendor Show will be Saturday, December 9 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at 710 Aquahart Road.
