In March, the Band Parents of Glen Burnie High School will be working with the school’s music program members in sponsoring and staffing their annual spring craft fair.
All proceeds from the event will go to Glen Burnie High School music programs. These programs are the color guard, drum line, and the concert and marching band.
The 163 vendor spaces will be set up in the cafeteria, the girls’ gym, and the media center. All spaces for this spring fair have been sold out, so there will be a large variety of merchandise.
All items will be handmade. Jewelry from fused glass, clay, and stone, to gemstone and leather will be available. Easter decorations, pottery, and body products will be on hand. Wooden toys, puzzles and art and paper items such as acrylic and oil paintings, Holiday Cards and folk art will be represented. There will also be home accessories and décor, such as quilts and birdhouses and pet needs.
Breakfast and lunch will be sold in the cafeteria. Food items will also be for sale at the booths. Some of these will include cupcakes, German roasted nuts, toffee, fudge, and salsa.
The Glen Burnie High School Spring Fair will be held March 18. It will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Glen Burnie High School is located at 7550 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. here in Glen Burnie.
