Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks will be holding The 10th Annual Joshua Roach Memorial Golf Tournament in the latter part of September, with proceeds going to the Anne Arundel Youth Football Association.
The Anne Arundel Youth Football Association supports local football clubs in its efforts to teach football to six- to thirteen-year-olds. It also holds an AAYFA Championship in November.
Individual registration will be $115, while foursomes will be $460 and must be completed before September 15. Donations of $25, $50, and $75 may be made online when registering. Registration comes with 18 holes of golf, unlimited beverages, and lunch.
Golf tee sponsorships are $100. These sponsorships will include Logo Design and company or business name on the sponsored hole’s tee box and in the event program. Local businesses are also being asked to donate door prizes, such as Gift Certificates and merchandise.
Glen Burnie businesses that donate to charity events such as this often contribute Promotional Products such as T-Shirts, hats and sweatshirts sporting the business’s graphic design.
The putting green will open with registration starting at 7:30 am and closing at 8:30 am. The Best Ball Scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 am.
The tournament will take place Friday, September 22 from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm at Compass Pointe Golf Course, 9010 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena.
