Glen Burnie gets the chance to eat, drink and be merry

Nextival has been moved from its original date and will now take place early in July.

Tickets are still on sale for $15, and kids under 14 will get in free. More than 30 vendors and food trucks will be at the site, along with three stages of live music.

Some of the food trucks that will be there will be Bruster’s Ice Cream, Pasta La Vista Baby, BMore Greek Grill, the Commie Pig, Grr Che Café, and JZ’s Brick Oven. Some enterprising local businesses may want to have their Logo Design on a vendor’s promotional Drinkware.

More than music groups will be performing on the two main stages. Some of them will be Lost Child, Junior Marvin’s Wailers, and Pressing Strings.

The kids’ stage will have activities such as face painting, a play area, puppet show, Michael’s Krazy Balloons, and 10 inflatables. Live music in the children’s area will be from Kidsinger Jim, Guava Jelly, and Milkshake.

The Nextival Cornhole Competition has just been added to the event’s lineup of activities. Monumental Helicopters will be offering 10-minute round-trip rides to downtown Annapolis for $50 a ticket.

Those in Glen Burnie and in other towns in Anne Arundel County will want to be at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds at 1490 Route 178 (General’s Highway), Crownsville, next Saturday, July 9. Gates will open at 10:00 am and close at 10:00 pm.
