Glen Burnie fire department to hold easter egg hunt

The Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) will be hosting their annual Vendor Fair and Easter Egg Hunt at the end of March.

The Easter Egg Hunt will be divided into three age groups, with each group starting at a different time.

The 1-to-3-year-olds will begin their hunt at 11:45am. They will be followed at 1:00pm by the 4-to-7-year-olds, and the 8-year-old and older children will begin their hunt at 2:15pm.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, and have their pictures taken with him. Such pictures can be taken to local Print shops for duplicates to send to family members.

Parents may support the Orchard Beach VFD by shopping for local services and products at the event's Vendor Fair. Vendors will be offering beauty products, jewelry, home decor, crafts and other items. Attendees may also purchase lunch and refreshments inside the hall.

Although tickets for the Easter Egg Hunt and Vendor Fair will be free, they will need to be booked ahead of time. This will be a BYOB (bring your own baskets) affair, and guests will need to remember their cameras.

Proceeds will go to the Orchard Beach VFD for equipment and operating expenses, to help support it in providing fire and emergency medical services for the community.

The Orchard Beach VFD Vendor Fair and Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 30, from 11am to 3pm. The location can be found at 7549 Solley Rd, Glen Burnie.
