Glen Burnie enjoys fall festivities
Two fall festivals and a cornhole tournament and football fundraiser are being planned for Glen Burnie.
The Cornhole and Football fundraiser will have a double elimination format for 20 teams for its cornhole tournament. Football fans can view various football games, and food will be available for purchase. There will be a cash bar and 50/50 raffles.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
The Cornhole Tournament and Football fundraiser will take place Sunday, September 28th from noon to 7:00 pm at the Orchard Beach VFD Banquet Hall, 7549 Solley Road.
The GBIA (Glen Burnie Improvement Association) is presenting its annual Fall Fest featuring live music, food vendors, a beer and wine garden and more than 100 local businesses and crafters.
It will take place October 4th from noon to 5:00 pm at the GBIA Carnival Grounds, 19 Crain Highway South.
Meanwhile the 4th Annual Family Fall Fest will be over at VFW Post 160. Activities will include a bake sale, pumpkin decorating, and a craft fair, scarecrow making contest, and team mummy making competition. A Chili Cook-Off will be taking place in the canteen and tastings will cost $5. Crafters who regularly go to fall festivals like these often have fall themes on their printed promotional materials, such as business cards.
