Glen Burnie enjoys eclectic array of events in July

Those in Glen Burnie looking for something to do during July will have plenty of options from which to choose, including fundraisers, a car cruise, and a 4th of July cookout.

Next Friday, the Country Club Pool at 1 Paul Marr Drive will be holding a Fourth of July Cookout from noon to 6:00 pm. Guests may purchase food beginning at 1:00 pm. This will be a fundraiser for the pool's swim team.

On Saturday, July 19, Maryland Street Dreamz Muscle Cars Club will make the journey to Calvert High School at 600 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, where it will host a Cars, Truck & Motorcycle Show. The meetup will be at 7:00 am at Royal Farms at 197, 930 Cromwell Park Drive in Glen Burnie, and the cruise will begin at 7:30 am.

A 3rd Annual Christmas in July craft fair and fundraiser will take place July 25 through 27 at Marley Station Mall, 7900 Ritchie Highway. Proceeds will go to a critically ill person.

Meanwhile over at PickleRage, 851 Cromwell Park Drive, there will be a Battle of the Badges Pickleball Fundraiser presented by BWI Airport Professional Firefighters from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. A 10% share of proceeds will go to the family of fallen firefighter Chris Higgins.

Those involved in fundraisers often get local printing services to help out, with flyer printing being particularly useful.
