Those in Glen Burnie looking for something to do or eat will be looking forward to the Baltimore Wing and Chicken Festival coming at the end of November.
More than 20 Baltimore food trucks and restaurants will be offering over 60 styles of wings. They will also have traditional chicken items such as grilled or fried chicken sandwiches, and more unique offerings such as chicken and waffles, and chicken mac and cheese tacos. The latter of those can be found in Mac & Cheese Ally, where 10 or more vendors will be selling only mac and cheese items. Vendors will also be selling desserts, cotton candy, funnel cakes, and ice-cream.
There will be French Fry and Hot Wings eating contests, and no one will want to miss the Axe Throwing Expo or the other activities and carnival games. Kids can enjoy face painting and bounce houses, while adults enter the Tailgating games and Baggo Tournament.
The venue will have live entertainment and merchandise vendors. A Chicken Bucks voucher system will be in place, meaning stations will be situated throughout the venue for guests to purchase the vouchers. This currency must be used for all food.
VIP tickets include wing buckets and aprons with the event Logo Design emblazoned on the front.
Baltimore Wing and Chicken Festival will be Saturday, November 21 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Power Plant Live!, 34 Market Place, Baltimore.
