Those families wanting to give their dads something special for Father’s Day can take them out to dinner, concert, or the Juneteenth Father’s Day Jam.
La Fontaine Bleue, here in Glen Burnie, will have a Father’s Day BBQ/Crab Buffet on Sunday, June 19th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The whole family can enjoy crab cakes and steamed shrimp steamed crabs, as well as fried chicken, hot dogs, burgers, and pulled pork BBQ. A little further afield in Baltimore, there will be a Father’s Day and 5 Year Anniversary Concert and Party dubbed “You! Fathers Matter” at the Next Phaze Café on Sunday, June 19 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Panama Band and DJ Duke Online will provide the music and the event will be hosted by comedian Larry Lancaster.
Tickets are $55 and include food such as salmon, chicken, grilled shrimp, chicken satay, rice pilaf, and macaroni and cheese.
Father’s Day and 5 Year Anniversary and Party will take place at the World Trade Center’s 21st Floor, 401 E Pratt Street, Baltimore.
Also in Baltimore, Set It Off Juneteenth/Father’s Day Jam Explosion will take place at the Patapsco Arena, 3301 Annapolis Road on Sunday, June 19 from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am. The venue will feature two ballrooms with live DJs, bands, a cash bar, and a free lavish buffet.
