Families get into the Valentine's spirit

All members of Glen Burnie families will have the opportunity to enjoy a Valentine’s Day experience of their own in the upcoming weeks.

From 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm next Tuesday, January 23, fathers and girls may head out on a Daddy Daughter Date Night. Those who call ahead will find a table waiting for two, including a mocktail menu for the daughter and a movie. A photo station will be available for selfies. Pictures taken of little girls and their proud papas on date night often go to local Print shops to be included in family yearly Calendars and newsletters.

Daddy and Daughter Date Night will be at Bubba’s 33, 7305 Ritchie Highway.

A similar evening with the same amenities will be available for mommies and sons on Tuesday, February 6. Mom-and-boy couples are invited to Charcuterie Workshop for Two. This interactive class will have couples creating a tray of meat, cheese, nuts, fruits, chocolates, crackers, and spreads. Step-by-step instructions on charcuterie building will show them how to arrange meat and cut different cheeses, along with styling tips. Tickets are $68.

Shortly after, the Charcuterie Workshop for Two will take place Thursday, February 8, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Country Club Estates Recreation Association, 9 Thomas Road.

Finally, a wine bottle decorated with fairy lights and candy hearts will be the subject at A Family Paint Party at Sideline Sports Bar and Grill, 105 Chesapeake Center Court. This will be on Valentine’s Day itself (Wednesday, February 14) at 7:00 pm.
